What exactly is the couch?

The couch is a place in irc where people who are interested in "testing the waters" invite potential girlfriends/boyfriends to "sit" and be friendly.

How often is the couch used in #mormon-friends?

Thankfully...the couch is not used excessively in the channel. It may be used two or three times a night on a slow night. The couch may not be used at all on a busy night because people are talking in the channel, which keeps the flirting people in private chat.

How do I use the couch?

I like to use the couch in a few different ways and situations.
