Basic Chat Commands

• /NICK nickname
Changes your nickname to a new nickname.
You will find that often your nickname will be changed to GUEST then a number. This is because the nick you have chosen is already used.
Example:/NICK Bengal2 will change your name to Bengal2
• Click On A Nick
Send a private message to this user
Puts a red box around the nick on the list, and you can talk to this person without others seeing what is said.
• /WHOIS nickname
Shows information about someone.
• /QUIT [reason]
• This will disconnect you from IRC and will give the optional message as the reason for your departure. (this message only appears to people who are on the same channels as you).
  example: /quit That's all folks!

• /TOPIC #EnoughIsEnough newtopic
Changes the topic for the channel.

example: /topic #EnoughIsEnough Oh what a beautiful day!
• /KICK #channel nickname
Kicks named user off a given channel.
• To ban someone: /mode #EnoughIsEnough +b nickname (or user address)
example: /mode #EnoughIsEnough +b Jiminy
example: /mode #EnoughIsEnough +b joe@bloggs.edu

If you can't connect, then it might be a good idea to try to download mIRC. You can download it at www.mirc.com

You have to connect to any DalNet Server and when connected a connection box will appear. Just type #EnoughIsEnough in the box at the top and click the join button.
