What sort of game is Jedi Knight?
Jedi Knight, or Dark Forces II, is an upcoming 1st person action game from LucasArts. Featuring full 3d characters and multiplayer capabilities, Jedi Knight will truly be a revolutionary game. Though it will probably have a similar look and feel to id's Quake, Jedi Knight will introduce some new aspects to this genre of games, making it much more than just a 'Quake clone'.

Who is making Jedi Knight? Jedi Knight is being created by LucasArts. They have developed many other great games, including Xwing, Tie Fighter, Dark Forces, and Rebel Assault.
When will it be released? According to Lucas Arts, it will be available "when its done." So Far though the release date looks to be "around" Sept. 1st.
What are the system requirements? I don' think that Lucas Arts have given the official system requirement. However, I suspect that the game will require at least a pentium processor, and will probably only run well if its 100+ mhz. Also, it will most likely require 16 - 32 megs of RAM and a cd-rom. 3d Accelerators should help, but won't necessarily be required. Looks like I'm going to have to buy myself a new computer to run this game.
Will Jedi Knight be created for the Mac? Yes, it will be created for the Mac. Lucas Arts should release the Mac version shortly after the PC version hits stores.
What about a demo? There is no demo yet. We suspect that a demo will be available just before the release of the game.
So whats the big deal? Jedi Knight looks just like another 1st person kill-everthing-in-site game right? WRONG! Jedi Knight will be much more than that. It will feature not only incredible graphics, but also a very in-depth storyline. Its gameplay will be great, esp ecially with the light saber and the ability to use the force. Besides, if anyone knows how to make a great game, it would be Lucas Arts.
