Many of the stages have been simplified in this diagram so the entire process can be seen at a glance. Information comes in through the senses, flows down to the storehouse of impressions resonates with the information there, and then rises through the different levels of the mind until it is appreciated as a conscious thought. The process ends either with an outflowing command to the body, or with an inner loop, where the mind sends a new impulse into the perceptual channels to create new thoughts.
